Common Terms, Phrases, and Abbreviations
Definition:
Means products break down naturally, they eventually decompose and are consumed by soil and other natural components.
Why it's important:
This natural process means no forced chemical reaction needs to take place to kickstart the process and less pollution will happen as a result.
Definition:
The natural process of recycling organic matter, such as leaves and food scraps, into a valuable fertilizer that can enrich soil and plants.
Why it's important:
Reduces methane gas and waste in landfills. Reduces personal food waste. Conserves water.
