Brand details

Handcrafted by a family-run weaving workshop in central Oaxaca. These third-generation weavers use 100% Mexican cotton and weave with using a pedal loom. This form of weaving is very complex and involves the simultaneous use of artisans' hands and feet. It is very complex and takes many years to master.

The family is working to pass down their craft to the next generation so that the pedal loom weaving tradition is not lost.

How to use
  • Machine wash and do not use fabric softener.
  • Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry in the sun. Do not use dryer sheets to preserve cotton's natural absorbency.
  • May shrink a bit after first several washes, and get more absorbent with each wash.
  • Warm iron as needed.
