We partnered with a family of master weavers in Oaxaca to create a small batch of artisanal, 100% Mexican cotton placemats.

Handcrafted by third-generation weavers on a pedal loom using ancestral techniques only practiced in two Oaxacan towns.

Fast fashion has left us with textiles that don't last, using synthetic fibers and end up in landfills. But not here. These handwoven placemats are made the old fashioned way. Designed to last and maintain their bright colors.

Placemats are woven by third generation weavers in Oaxaca, in a family-run studio using a pedal loom. The pedal loom is over 100 years old and the weaving technique has been passed down by generation to generation!
